Everton fans heap praise on Brands’ latest move

Loads of Everton fans have been reacting to a brilliant clip from the King Power Stadium, as Marcel Brands was spotted congratulating the Toffees after their 2-1 win.

Sam Allardyce and his negative brand of football wasn’t the only problem at Goodison Park last season, and the summer overhaul that brought in Marco Silva and Brands was a long time coming.

Brands might just be the most important signing of all, as the Toffees’ transfer business has been really poor for a long time.

The former PSV transfer guru was hard at work this summer, bringing in long-term replacements for Phil Jagielka and Leighton Baines while splashing out big money on a rising star in Richarlison.

Brands is known for his hands-on approach, and you won’t find many directors of football that wait in the tunnel to individually congratulate players after a win.
