Aston Villa fans react to Jack Grealish’s comments on Spurs

Aston Villa have struggled to find their feet so far this season and their decline in form has led to plenty of speculation concerning a number of players within the squad.

Jack Grealish continues to be amongst that contingent despite only recently signing a new five-year deal after admitting he was disappointed not to complete a move to Tottenham Hotspur during the summer transfer window.

Grealish believes he would be fighting for a spot in the England squad had he moved to the Premier League giants and the quotes risk upsetting a number of people, as football fans are never regarded as being a forgiving bunch.

However, Aston Villa fans on social media have largely reacted positively to the news and have praised the 23-year-old’s maturity after being honest – whereas other footballers would claim they’re happy before later jumping ship.
